We keep getting told that wind and solar renewables are cheap, yet our bills keep going up. So, what's going on?
Many are unaware the extent that renewables are subsidised, and that they are not primarily driven by the market forces, furthermore, 'peak-demand energy supply' is mainly supplied by reliable hydroelectric, gas, nuclear or coal power generation, and that the greener renewables offer a more unreliable, intermittent and weather dependent energy production which currently cannot be solved by storing this form of energy production in batteries..
